Experience and innovation have led to one of the most advanced tools for excavators – the KINSHOFER rotary actuator (RA).
A tilting angle of 2 x 50° up to 2 x 90° makes it an agile joint. Combined with a quick change system and various attachments, this means high efficiency at any construction site: the TC tilt coupler series by KINSHOFER is optimally engineered to suit excavators with an operating weight of 3t to 23t, all including upper suspension, RA rotary actuator, and featuring different lower quick coupler types and versions.
The TC can be equipped with the X-Lock quick coupler safety system, thus creating a combination of greatest flexibility and maximum safety. The tilt couplers provide a most compact design, featuring minimal height and length. The tilting torque is high and constant. The special alloy cast body and the single thread arrangement guarantee a high durability, less self-weight and a long lifetime. As the elliptic tilting drive runs in a permanent oil bath, there is less maintenance necessary and the number of seals is reduced to a minimum. The usage of the RA rotary actuator is versatile; it can either be used with quick change systems as tilt coupler, for tilting buckets or other special applications. Adapted control kits are available on request, as well as single RA rotary actuator without upper suspension and lower quick hitch system.
TC05 for excavators with 3 up to 5t / 6600 to 11000 lbs, depending on the mounted lower quick coupler type and version, with tilting angles of 2 x 50°, 2 x 70° or 2 x 90° and 3,5 to 4 kNm / 2580 to 2950 ft.lbs tilting torque, also depending on the mounted lower quick coupler type and version. TC09 for excavators with 4 up to 11t / 8800 to 24200 lbs, depending on the mounted lower quick coupler type and version, with tilting angles of 2 x 50°, 2 x 70° or 2 x 90° and 5,3 kNm / 3910 ft.lbs tilting torque. TC14 for excavators with 10 up to 19t / 22000 to 41800 lbs, depending on the mounted lower quick coupler type and version, with tilting angles of 2 x 50°, 2 x 70° or 2 x 90° and 12,6 kNm / 9290 ft.lbs tilting torque. TC20 for excavators with 15 up to 23t / 33000 to 50600 lbs, depending on the mounted lower quick coupler type and version, with tilting angles of 2 x 50° or 2 x 70° and 22,0 kNm / 16225 ft.lbs tilting torque.
