Re-Handling Clamshell Buckets with HPXdrive
The robust re-handling clamshell buckets C40HPX are equipped with the newly developed drive unit, based on the revolutionary and already proven HPXdrive. The revolutionary concept for hydraulically operated grabs! The rotation of the arms of the grab is generated by two hydraulically driven pistons, which run opposed and have four helix threads.
No hydraulic cylinder required! No short hose connections required!
The drive unit runs in a permanent oil bath which ensures a 50% longer life cycle and a low maintenance. The HPXdrive is resistant against dirt and blows due to the compact design.
Optimal loading due to high volume of the torsion-resistant shells and precise positioning thanks to integrated rotation.
Constant closing forces during the entire gripping process.
The grab has an integrated rotation with swivel and bevel sealed. Rotary feedthrough and motor are accessible directly. The integrated non-return valve guarantees secure retention of loads.
An easy shell exchange for maximum flexibility and efficiency is possible thanks to the integrated HPXdrive shell exchange system, so you can easily change between shells with different volumes.
The C40HPX is ideal for excavators with 18t / 39600 lbs to 25t / 55000 lbs or re-handling excavators with 20t / 44000 lbs to 40t / 88000 lbs operating weight.
Re-Handling Clamshell Buckets with Horizontal Cylinders
The durable KINSHOFER re-handling clamshell buckets have been developed especially for the loading and unloading of bulk materials in large amounts. The widely spaced pivots and the flat closing curve provide maximum volume and the ground surface is protected when discharging from e.g. boat or train carriages. Cutting edges have been constructed using 500 HB steel to guarantee a long service life. The shell back walls are made of 8 mm / 0.31 in thick 400 HB steel to resist highly abrasive materials. Bearing points feature specially coated bushings and hardened pins.
The integrated rotation provides a sealed swivel and bevel and rotary feedthrough and motor are accessible directly.
High closing forces provide excellent digging characteristics and an integrated non-return valve guarantee the secure retention of loads even at pressure drops.
The largest type of the series, the C80H, has reinforced shells by default.
Re-Handling Clamshell Buckets with Vertical Cylinders
Also especially for the loading of bulk materials for excavators with up to 60t / 132000 lbs operating weight, the new re-handling clamshell buckets of the C-VHD-series are equipped with vertical cylinders and available in different versions:
versions A and B feature different opening widths, while version C has closed shells for fine-grained loads like e.g. fertilizer. The integrated rotation provides a sealed swivel and bevel and rotary feedthrough and motor are accessible directly.
All re-handling clamshell buckets are also available as heavy duty version with reinforced shells on request.
