With the MAV high frequency compactor, malleable, loose and semi-solid soil or gravel can be compressed and solidified conveniently and economically using an excavator – to the best advantage, in combination with a tiltrotator. The design with carrier rope increases the lifetime for the spring rubber. The vibration is well damped versus the excavator and the operator, improving not only the working quality but also reducing the shock loads against the carrier. The same goes for the MAU multi purpose compactor lower, additionally featuring the possibility to mount different attachments below the vibrating unit such as compactor plates or asphalt cutters. Both compactors are highly efficient compared to conventional manual compactors and better suited for working sites difficult to access. The compactors feature a high compression depth and guarantee a safe work as there is less risk of moving (no swinging) when compacting on malleable soils. The compactors can be eqipped with a 15t-rotator or a worm gear with high torque. A rigid mount version is also available featuring a quick hitch adapter. In combination with a tiltrotator, the compacting of slopes can be achieved easily and safely as the excavator does not have to be moved into an insecure position to compact the soil.
